Rates

A written, itemized estimate will be provided for repairs over $300. This will be emailed to the address you provided when scheduling the service call.

Your bill will be exactly the total of:

Diagnostic Fee (includes up to 30 minutes)	$110.00
Parts	Depends on required parts
Labor	$27.50/15 minutes
Labor for luxury, commercial and commercial-style appliances	$55.00/15 minutes

Large or Heavy Appliances:

If your appliance is unusually large or heavy, or your floor needs additional protection, we will use a "Heavy Lifter" device, which glides yourappliance on a cushion of air wihout even touching your floor.

There is an additional $55.00 charge for this service.

Brands with difficult to obtain parts or service infomation:

Some brands, especially very high end brands, require significant phone and email time with the manufacturer in order to obtain parts information, service information, and actual parts. This time is billable at the same labor rate as service for that brand.

Parts that need to be special ordered require 100% prepayment and can not be canceled regardless of how long they take to arrive. I know this sounds ridiculous, however some of the countries where these products are manufactured have strange labor practices. Factories in France and China, for example completely close for an entire month, and when they re-open can take several months to come back up to speed and actually produce needed parts and get them to the US distributor.

Also, many have skilled labor difficulties, so even when they’re open, if “the guy who runs the machine that makes <whatever>” retires or leaves, it can take even longer. We do not accept cancellations on these orders because the factories do not accept cancellations from us.

Travel Fee:

For locations that require a significant amount of driving, there is a charge for travel. The amount varies depending on drive time and distance. Setup a service call and you will be shown the total before the call is scheduled.
